When Fort Orthodontics opened in 2009, we were Fort Saskatchewan’s first orthodontist. Since then, we’ve had one simple goal: help people smile! Dr. Sunny Leong and Dr. Justin Kim are part of a team that is truly passionate about orthodontics. Fort Orthodontics goes above and beyond to make your treatment experience a great one from start to finish. We know families today are busy, so we work hard to bring you the best treatment options and manageable appointment schedules. Do you prefer to speak another language other than English? MEET DR. JUSTIN KIM
Dr. Justin Kim is a dedicated orthodontic specialist with a passion for creating beautiful smiles and positively impacting the lives of his patients. He embarked on his journey in dentistry at the University of Alberta, where he earned his Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees.
During his time in dental school, Dr. Kim discovered the transformative power of smiles and became inspired to specialize in orthodontics. After practicing as a general dentist in High River, Alberta, he returned to the University of Alberta to pursue his passion further. Dr. Kim completed a three-year graduate orthodontic specialty program, honing his expertise and skills to become an orthodontic specialist.
With a total dedication of 11 years to his education and training at the University of Alberta, Dr. Kim brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his practice. He is committed to staying at the forefront of orthodontic advancements to provide the highest quality care to his patients.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Kim cherishes spending time with his two lovely daughters. He enjoys exploring the picturesque landscapes of the mountains through hiking and loves to golf.

MEET DR. SUNNY LEONG
Dr. Sunny Leong has been practicing in Fort Saskatchewan since 2009. He is a Certified Orthodontic Specialist.
We are excited to announce Dr. Sunny Leong or “Dr. Sunny”, as many know him, is now back in the office. He is currently working alongside Dr. Justin meeting patients and reviewing treatment plans. Dr. Leong has been practicing orthodontics for over 12 years. He has a conservative treatment approach, similar to Dr. Justin. He is looking forward to seeing all of you again!
At Fort Ortho, we welcome patients of all ages and our practice employs the most advanced orthodontic techniques and technologies for leading orthodontic treatments. Traditional metal braces are still the most popular, quickest, and most cost-effective, orthodontic treatment available — but we offer Invisalign, ceramic, and more. We’re situated close to Edmonton and Sherwood Park, so we serve several patients from these communities. Dr. Leong’s Edmonton practice, Expressions Orthodontics, is close by as well and is often used as an alternate treatment location.

For patients who have an insurance policy that includes orthodontic coverage, we offer to accept the assignment of insurance benefits*. This means you don’t have to go through the hassle of having to submit insurance claims for reimbursement each month. We take care of that. We take the amount covered by your insurance provider “off the top” and spread the remaining treatment fee across a 0% interest**, flexible payment schedule.
You can take advantage of this service and even begin treatment the day you visit our office by providing us with your insurance information when you first contact our office to schedule your free, initial consultation.
